Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao came down heavily on firebrand former minister and YSR Congress party leader Konda Surekha for stating that Telangana state would become a reality if he and his family members committed suicide.
Reacting strongly to Surekha’s comment, the TRS president wondered how Telangana would come with his suicide. “Does she have brain or has she lost her mental balance out of frustration? Let her go through the suicide notes of those who had committed suicide; she will know whether they died under pressure from me or out of their desperation for Telangana. If at all anybody has to commit suicide, it should be Surekha first,” he said.
KCR demanded that YSR Congress party should depute its honorary president Y S Vijayalakshmi to the all-party meeting. “Similarly, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu should also attend the meeting on behalf of his party and spell out his stand. They will get exposed,” he said.
