Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Monday took a dig at chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, albeit indirectly, for claiming credit for the various welfare schemes being implemented in the state.

“Though the chief minister claimed at the PCC extended executive committee meeting that schemes like SC/ST sub-plan, Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu and Re 1-a-kg rice supply were his patented schemes, they are actually the Congress party schemes. It was a slip of tongue on the part of the chief minister to claim credit for the schemes or it could be due to his language problem. Please don’t make a big issue out of it,” Botsa told the media at Gandhi Bhavan.

He asserted that the government would run with collective efforts of all the party leaders and not because of one single person. “The government is a continuous process,” he said.
