From the time it was announced, the film ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ was being made at a grand scale and no compromise was made given its production values or the names of technicians, cast involved. Buzz is that the film has been made with a whopping budget of Rs 35 crores.
 
Now, reports have begun to flow from the box office market. They say that the talk is cool but the collections are nil. However, the trade experts say “It is too early to write off the film. There are those who will come to watch the film out of Rama Bhakti. Actually, the real position will be known after the weekend.”
 
However, there are those who say “If it is a Balayya’s film then there is nothing called weekend or weekday, the collections will be huge.” Another version is “Devotional flicks take time to pick up. If one can recall, the film ‘Annamayya’ got into full flow only during the 5th week of its release. For devotional films that’s the trend.” Let us wait and see.
