At one point of time, Kodandaram emerged as a parallel power structure to KCR during the Telangana agitation.
But after the formation of Telangana, KCR by entrusting him with some dummy activities effortlessly sidelined him much like the way a housewife ignores her father-in-law. Since then, Kodandaram has been as bored as a retired boxer.
But the section 8 dispute raked up by AP leaders might just come to his rescue. Section 8 might mean nothing at all to the people of Telangana and Seemandhra in Hyderabad, but it sure gives the politicians plenty to do.
And all of a sudden, Kodandaram is as excited as a girl on her first date. He has wasted no time in convening a press meet and warning the Centre and AP of a serious agitation by the Telangana JAC if section 8 were to be imposed.
