Nagarjuna has high hopes on Hello to be a bigger blockbuster than Manam from Annapurna Studios.
He has been quoting high prices for the distribution rights for all centers and the response from the distributors is very positive.
However, Nagarjuna did a mistake by not closing the overseas distribution deal of Hello when the distributors were offering Rs. 5 crore.
But Nagarjuna quoted Rs. 6 crore and refused to budge. Meanwhile, overseas distributors started being very conservative with new deals after the Dussera disasters.
With many films bombing big time buyers are not coming forward to take huge risks. Right now they are only offering Rs. 2.5 crore for Hello overseas distribution rights.
Irked by this Nagarjuna is going for own release in overseas. He has tied up with an overseas distribution company and releasing it on commission basis.
