After the failure of 'Sardar Gabbar Singh', many were surprised when K. S. Ravindra popularly known as Bobby, got a chance to direct NTR Jr in 'Jai Lava Kusa'.
While his first film "Power" did average business at the box-office, he did manage to get chances with top heroes.
However, since he does not have much experience in directing, he isn't being given the respect or the flexibility to go about his job on the sets.
During the making of "Sardar Gabbar Singh", three different directors set up three different units and completed the film. And now, he is the official director of "Jai Lava Kusa". There is only one unit here, but talk from the sets is that Bobby has very little to do.
Apparently, almost everything is being taken care of by NTR and Kalyan Ram. Gossip is that Bobby is barely present during the picturisation of songs and action sequences.
It is said that he has no say in releasing the stills and timing the teasers. All work is being taken care of NTR and Kalyan Ram. So talk is that barring saying cut and action, Bobby has nothing much to do.
Given that there are a lot of rumours, it remains to be seen what leverage Bobby will get once the film releases.
