Agynaathavaasi has ended up as a disaster bringing losses to buyers on a huge scale and the producers of the film are returning the money to those who bought the film on a returnable basis.
Against this backdrop, talk in the industry is that the producers had approached Pawan Kalyan requesting him to do another film for them to offset the losses caused by Agynaathavaasi.
Apparently, the producers had prior to the release of the film doubted the viability of the project and broached the topic of Pawan Kalyan doing another film for them in case Agynaathavaasi failed.
Pawan had then adopted a wait-and-watch approach. But now, he has categorically told the producers that he will not do another film for them.
It is believed that the power star was paid Rs 20 crore as remuneration along with being assured a share of 10 percent of profits.
The remake rights of the Akshay Kumar hit Bollywood film Jolly LLB 2 are with the producers and they had hoped to remake it with Pawan Kalyan in the direction of Harish Shankar.
But Pawan Kalyan’s refusal has put paid to all such plans.
