Harish Shankar was vocally unhappy with the way how critics had bashed his last outing DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham.
He was criticized for churning out stale masala template films in spite of having big stars and budget on hands. Harish decided to hit back at his critics with a ‘content-rich’ film very soon.
The Gabbar Singh director had finished penning the script and also completed location scouting etc.
He has reportedly locked Sharwanand and Nithin as the male leads and has finalized Rakul Preeth Singh as one of the female leads. He is in talks with Sai Pallavi for the other character.
Tentatively titled Dagudu Muthalu it is a youthful romantic entertainer with novel screenplay.
Harish is a very good writer and he is using his skills to the maximum effect for this film as he wants to deliver a film that will be applauded by one and all.
Dil Raju who has produced Harish’s previous three films is the producer for this one too. The film is expected to start rolling from the first quarter of 2018.
