Sometimes, in the entertainment business, even the best of stars are afflicted with financial difficulties and Pawan Kalyan is no exception.
At one point of time, Pawan Kalyan was in dire straits financially and owed a huge amount of money to PVP.
Thanks to the mediation of industry elders, a deal was arrived at whereby the interest amount on the loan was waived off and the principal amount was adjusted as advance for a film to be done by Pawan for PVP.
But the bonhomie between PVP and Pawan which was there initially during the formation of Jana Sena disappeared after the 2014 elections and Pawan returned a major part of the money he owed to PVP. Finally, Rs 3 crore is the pending amount, according to sources.
Recently, when PVP enquired about the balance payment, Pawan is believed to have told him that he would clear it soon.
Financially, Pawan is in a very comfortable position now. He has taken remuneration to the tune of nearly Rs 40-50 crore from Mythri movies and Harika Hassine Creations.
Besides, he unhesitatingly demanded and took a major share of revenue in the form of remuneration from his close friend Sharat Marar who produced Sardar Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu.
On the personal front, he is now debt-free more or less and well off financially but he still needs to do movies to raise funds for Janasena but if he decides to do what his brother did with Praja Rajyam, then raising funds or Jana Sena would not at all be a problem.
